We strongly adhere to the Lean Startup and Agile principles. That's why we work on initiatives in small mission-oriented squads of 1 to 3 people.

We rely heavily on AI for everything. We all embrace using AI for everything at work, creating new skills frequently and setting up autonomous workflows whenever possible.

Engineers are owners and work across the stack in order to achieve our objectives:

• Understand customers, goals, and the context in the restaurant sector

• Architect technical solutions

• Build backend and frontend code with many parallel agents (typically 80% backend, 20% frontend)

• Engineer AI workflows, balancing latency, cost and accuracy

• Do your own project management, rolling out your initiatives to customers

• Talk to customers to validate ideas and get feedback

Keep-the-lights-on work is shared, like bug fixing, monitoring and dependency management. We succeed at this with rotating squads and Pit Stops.

➡️ Requirements

👉 Product Engineering experience: end-to-end from ideation, infrastructure, backend, frontend, testing, etc. because we aren't "factory developers", we are engineers of digital products responsible for outcomes, not for implementing requirements.

👉 Very good use of AI tooling: you have developed good judgement (criterio) when using IA and are very productive with it. You think in terms of AI workflows and automations, at work and at personal life.

👉 Experience in good coding practices and good architecture, like clean architecture, DDD, hexagonal, modular monoliths or microservice environments.

👉 Fluent in Spanish and comfortable in English. We tend to speak in Spanish at the office and in Slack, and write documentation and projects in English.

We think these requirements are often achieved with 5 years of experience in SaaS product companies, but for some it might have taken less, and for others it might take more.

We move fast and communicate openly. Our goal is to wrap up the process within a week. Here's what to expect:

1. Intro call with Guillermo (Head of Technology), 25 mins.

2. Call with Pol (co-founder, CEO), 25 mins.

3. Technical interviews with Guillermo and another engineer (2 hours). Part 1: architectural solution thinking, and part 2: AI-assisted live coding of an MVP.

4. Final call with Arnau (co-founder, CEO), 25 mins.
